TIME ADJUSTMENT

NOTE

Button layout

The meter has four buttons. On the RS-01 they run 1, 2, 3, 4 from left to right, Button 1 on the far left and Button 4 on the far right. On the S-01 they run top to bottom, Button 1 at the top and Button 4 at the bottom. On both models, Buttons 1 and 2 move back and forth through the menu, Button 3 is enter, and Button 4 is back.

The seven-day rule

You can adjust the time once every 7 days. If you try again before 7 days have passed, the minutes field will NOT flash — that means a time adjust is not possible right now and you must wait.

Maximum adjustment

The time can only be moved plus or minus 2 minutes. If you need more than that, contact your installer.

STEPS

  1. From "FOR HIRE", press Button 3 to open the menu.
  2. Press Button 1 or Button 2 until "SETTINGS" appears.SETTINGS
  3. Press Button 3 to enter the settings menu.
  4. "DATE" appears by default.
  5. Press Button 3 to enter the date/time adjustment.
  6. The minutes field flashes.
  7. Press Button 1 or Button 2 to adjust (max plus/minus 2 minutes).
  8. Press Button 3 to confirm.flashing stops

Switching the meter OFF and ON

The meter always remembers the last settings state it was in. Pressing Button 3 from "FOR HIRE" returns you to whichever settings menu you were last in. By default the meter comes up in the "switch off taximeter" menu. The dedicated function to actually switch the meter OFF is a long-press of Button 4. To switch it back ON, press Button 2 or Button 3.
