It inherits all the same ergonomics and intuitive button layout that Irish drivers came to rely on over years of daily use, but with a completely redesigned screen: cleaner, crisper and more refined, with strong contrast and a layout that's easy to read at a glance without squinting.

Compact and slim, the S-01 sits neatly on your fascia without eating into your field of vision or cluttering up a modern vehicle interior. Passengers sitting up front can see the meter clearly at all times — that transparency builds trust and means fewer awkward fare conversations at journey's end.

Like every taximeter in the ATA Primus 2.0 range, the S-01 links directly to your roof light: the moment you engage the meter, your taxi sign switches to "hired" automatically, and flips back to "free" when the job ends. No manual switching, no accidentally leaving the light on when you're taken.

There's plenty working away under the surface too. You can set the period of time after which the meter shuts down automatically, so it never sits draining your car's battery on a day off or an overnight break. Your till receipts can be programmed with your own details — a phone number, a QR code for passengers to scan, or your company logo. The clock is easily adjusted, your totals can be reset whenever you want a fresh count of the shift's fares and takings, and the menu is clear and easy to navigate throughout.
