This is not an update. This is a complete redesign. ATA Electronics has rebuilt the Power Print from the ground up for 2026 — a compact, precision-engineered piece of hardware that means business from the moment you look at it. Sleek, silent, and built to last the life of the vehicle.
The Power Print 2.0 looks like it was designed with intent — because it was. ATA's engineers took everything they learned from years of the original Power Print in Irish and European taxis, and produced something that feels like a different class of equipment entirely. The profile is lower, the build is denser, and the finish is the kind of matte black that doesn't show its age.
Under Irish taxi regulations, you must offer passengers a printed receipt on request. The Power Print 2.0 handles that obligation without drama. Press, hear the near-silent feed, and the receipt is out before the passenger has their door open. Thermal printing means no ink, no ribbons, no cartridges to run dry mid-shift, and no maintenance schedule to remember.
A single thermal roll delivers well over 350 receipts. At typical daily usage, that's weeks between roll changes — and when the roll does run out, replacing it takes seconds. The top-loading mechanism drops a new roll in cleanly, no tools, no fuss, even with the unit mounted under the dash.
Every receipt carries the full legally required details: fare, distance, time, tariff applied, and any supplements. The NTA's minimum receipt requirements are met automatically — no setup or configuration needed on your part.
Notice what the Power Print 2.0 doesn't do: it doesn't need charging, it doesn't run on batteries, and it doesn't drop a Bluetooth connection halfway through printing a fare. We don't deal in gimmicks. The wireless receipt printers doing the rounds might look clever, but they bring a raft of problems a working driver doesn't need — a battery to keep charged overnight, cells that lose their capacity and need replacing inside a couple of years, and a pairing that chooses the worst possible moment to drop out while a passenger stands waiting. This is a piece of hardware designed to last. It wires directly to your meter and takes its power from the car, so there's no time lost to flat batteries, no time lost to charging, and no time lost to connection issues. You fit it once and it simply works, shift after shift, year after year.
Pairs natively with the PRIMUS RS-01 and PRIMUS S-01 taximeters supplied by us. One cable, direct connection, it works. Call +353 1 910 7583 or +353 87 283 5120 to order or enquire.
